To be eligible to get a license and bring your employees to the UK, you cannot have any unspent criminal convictions for immigration offences or other crimes such as fraud or money laundering as well as any history of failing to carry out your sponsorship duties. You will need systems in place to monitor those employees you sponsor and you may receive a visit from UK Visas and Immigration staff to make sure you are trustworthy and capable of carrying out your duties.
To obtain this license and bring your employees to the UK, you must complete an application online and send supporting documents to the Home Office to show your company is an active body. If you want to transfer staff from an overseas office, the companies must be linked.
Any potential employee that you want to bring to the UK must be qualified and experienced for skilled jobs in order for you to issue them with a Certificate of Sponsorship. Others, who are not as skilled, can only qualify for sponsorship in exceptional circumstances.
