Evellyn Geemon

Evellyn Geemon joins Taylor Hampton as an Immigration Paralegal.

Evellyn, completed her schooling in Kochi, India. She then moved to the UK in 2017 to begin her LLB at King’s College London.

Throughout her three years during her LLB, she was extremely involved in legal extra-curricular activity from running a successful student society to mentoring junior LLB students.

Upon graduating in 2020 she went on to the University of Leeds to complete her LLM in International Human Rights Law graduating with Merit.  She has interests in access to justice and equality, completing her dissertation on the topic of gender-based violence in India and government failures to protect women.

Evellyn gained her interest in immigration law on completion of a mini-pupillage with 1MCB Chambers and then went on to complete an internship with Sterling and Law where she was able to gain first-hand experience in completing visa applications. Since then, she has worked towards working in immigration through completing workshops in immigration law and more.

Leena Chouhan is in overall supervision of the Immigration Department at Taylor Hampton.
