Applicants for UK visas will be pleased to hear that from 5th October 2021 new improvements are to be introduced to the biometric appointments system. Most applicants applying or extending their UK Visas (such as Skilled Migrant or Spouse Visa) must attend a biometric appointment as part of the immigration application process. Appointments availability have been greatly reduced due to the pandemic causing delays in visa application processing.
Further changes include an increase of free appointments with UKVCAS from 1st November as well as standardised fixed fee of £125 for chargeable appointments.
