Taylor Hampton explains The Young Professionals Scheme
In this article, Taylor Hampton explains The Young Professionals Scheme introduced by India for UK Immigrants. In fact this is a positive development from which both India and the UK will benefit.
The Young Professionals Scheme will be introduced by India and the UK on February 28, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs. As such, it follows the 15th India-UK Foreign Office Consultations, according to The Economic Times.
On his Twitter account, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also confirmed the scheme’s introduction. However, applicants await further announcements on this new work visa for the UK – further details will emerge soon.
Nevertheless, there is no need for concern because the Home Office has published a guide. The guide outlines how to apply for a Youth Mobility Scheme visa that does make mention of Indian applicants. The Youth Mobility Scheme allows participants to live and work in the UK for up to two years, just like the Young Professionals Scheme. Effectively, The Young Professionals scheme is a subdivision of the Youth Mobility Visa Scheme.
